Assistant Pastor

Pastor Shaun, as he is affectionately called, has been on staff at Mount Zion since 2010. He oversees all church ministries. Before coming back home he served as the Dir. of Youth for the Baptist General Convention of Virginia. He has an earned a M.Div.  & a B.A. from Virginia Union University.  Pastor Shaun is married to the former Rev.  Lornetta D. Chaney.

Misha Marshall-Bankhead

Minister of Church Administration

Misha Marshall-Bankhead is the Church Business Administrator with the Mt. Zion MB Church Christian Complex. Misha has over ten years experience as an Executive Assistant and Office Management. Misha is experienced in Special Events, Volunteer Coordination, Public Relations and Social Media. Prior to starting at Mt. Zion MB Church Christian Complex, Misha spent over 3 years as the Office Manager at 100 Black Men of Metropolitan St. Louis, Public Relations Director for the Missouri Black Expo, and owns L.O.V.E. Event Planning & Design, a full service event planning company.

Misha is currently completing her studies at Lindenwood University, pursuing a degree in Communication Arts.

Mrs. Patricia Reece-Spencer   

Minister of Music

Mrs. Patricia Spencer began serving as Minister of Music at Mount Zion in the fall of 2010. She is a graduate of Webster University and a retired in 2004 as music educator. She is a mother of two adult children and a proud  grandmother.
